About Us

Hi, I’m Carol. I have been following FlyLady’s system for years now, and I put my control journal online because… that’s just what I do! I’m on my computer off and on all day, and I kept losing my paper version. I’m also part of a regional group of Flybabies, and I eventually shared my web site with them and set it up so they could use it, too. They loved it, and urged me to make it available to the world, so here we are!

If you are organizationally challenged, then you’re in good company. There are hundreds of thousands of us! And yes, I say “us”, because I am definitely one of you. I’m not an organizational expert by any means, and none of this comes naturally to me. I’m constantly struggling with conflicting priorities of housework, running the business, spending time with my kids (that was the whole point of becoming a WAHM, after all!) and husband, church work, and now being a girl scout leader… not necessarily in that order. For years, I operated in crisis mode, and whatever was the biggest crisis got my undivided attention while everything else fell apart. I have finally learned that it really is possible to do all of those things, fill all of those roles, be all of those people, and do them well, if I do a little bit of everything every day. My Life Organizer lists keep me on that track, so that I don’t get too focussed on one thing.
